Job Description

Job Summary

Provides administration and organizational support for the Testing Center. Assist in development and updating of best practices and procedures of the Testing Center to ensure integrity, neutrality, and confidentiality of students receiving testing. Provide test scheduling support to students and faculty in timely manner, coordinating faculty requests for testing with student appointments. Responsible for providing and arranging for testing accommodations for students with disabilities, facilitating and collaborating proctoring of tests, tracking of all testing data, security of testing rooms, reporting of suspicious behavior, testing statistics, and assessment. Responsible for maintaining security of tests and quizzes at all times, from receipt to completion and delivery. Collaborate with Student Affairs Coordinator on time sensitive projects, student IDs, parking permits, etc. as assigned. Reports to Director of Accessibility and Testing Services.

Scheduling, coordinating, proctoring, and monitoring tests provided in the Testing Center. Collaborate with backup staff for heavy schedule days, final exams week, etc. Maintain confidentiality, neutrality, and integrity of the Testing Center at all times. 

Work with Director of Accessibility and Testing Services to develop Testing Center policies and procedures, and strengthen integrity of services provided.

Assist students/faculty/staff/visitors with information requested in area, emails, phone calls, etc.

Collaborate/Assist Student Affairs Coordinator with Student identification cards, parking passes, and mail (when applicable). Also assist Student Affairs division staff with priority projects/events as needed, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications - Minimum

Education:

Required Minimum Education:

2 year Associates Degree

Preferred Education:

4 year Bachelors Degree

  • Combination of post-secondary education and experience will be considered in lieu of degree.

Experience:

3-5 years of administrative experience with good oral and written communication skills, including an excellent command of the English language and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential materials.

Competent in the use of computer software and hardware (Microsoft Office, etc.).  Ability to successfully manage workload with significant interruptions and multiple projects.

Certain areas may require knowledge of medical or scientific terminology.  Ability to work with various constituencies, including administration, faculty, staff and students. Assisting with proctoring and monitoring in a testing center.

Hours

Hours per pay period: 80

Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm

Will need to work a flexible schedule in proctoring/monitoring tests for students.
