Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the delivery of patient care utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation) throughout the continuum of care. The RN coordinates patient care provided by health team members utilizing interpersonal and teamwork skills.
The Nursing Practice of this position is congruent with evidence-based practice.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse provides care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person’s physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs in accordance with the mission of St. Rita’s Medical Center and within the scope of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. The Registered Nurse functioning in the spirit of teamwork is accountable for the delivery of nursing care utilizing the nursing process using evidence based standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines of the organization. The Registered Nurse coordinates the interdisciplinary patient care. The Registered Nurse will incorporate the core values of St. Rita’s Medical Center (Excellence, Human Dignity, Justice, Mercy, Sacredness of Life and Service) and the American Nursing Association Code of Ethics for nurses into their daily practices.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Licenses; Registrations

Must have current registration and licensure in the State of Ohio.

Education and/or Experience

Education: Associates or Bachelors Degree

One to two years of Medical-Surgical Nursing preferred, or experience in specialty.

Shift and Job Schedule

Full-Time:  7:00pm-7:30am

72 hours/pay

Every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays.
