The Revenue Cycle Analyst – Front End Operations, provides analytical and operations improvement support to patient access, pre-access leadership, and organization leadership as requested.  This position facilitates data analysis, trends, dashboard tracking, and supporting materials to lead improvement and initiative efforts in patient and pre-access services.  This role will provide operational insight through analysis and participate in the implementation and ongoing monitoring of improvements pertaining to access strategies, improvements and goals. 

Duties (included but not limited to): 

The candidate in this role must be able to operate with minimal supervision in managing multiple projects and competing deadlines.  This role must provide routine and comprehensive communication to Ensemble leadership on project status, result reporting, and barriers to performance.

  • Responsible for day to day front end operational reporting to include, but not limited to:
    • Standard scorecards for all sites
    • Daily performance snapshot
    • Monthly department performance/KPIs
    • OT approved/variances
    • Open roles/FMLA/Turnover rates combined views
    • Standard reports for sites, as possible
    • Missed opportunity, estimate utilization, in-house review etc.
    • Productivity reports daily/weekly/monthly
    • New client- determining data availability and what systems we can pull from
  • Responsible for gathering of data using interviews, document analysis, surveys, business process description, workflow analysis, phone system reporting, etc.
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile discrepancies, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding and recommendation.
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements.  
  • Ability to create, monitor, and analyze data for forecasting projections, trend analysis, and decision making purposes.
  • Generates and maintains short term forecasts for call volume, average handle times, number of agents, and other business requirements for multiple skill groups, utilizing phone system reporting
  • Reporting upon daily/weekly and monthly forecasting trends.
  • Work with the key stakeholders to ensure that all KPIs are reported accurately
  • Analyzes trends, including call volumes and call patterns, to forecast workload needed to support new business and/or service line addition
  • Monitor and coordinate activities to support operational performance management (e.g., service level, productivity, etc.).
  • Participates in new front end operational goal development and implementation.
  • Collaborate with CarePATH team to monitor and evaluate questionnaire and template change requests.
  • Develop reporting tools that enable auditing of key access goal indicators.
  • Establish ongoing meetings/touch points with front end leadership to review access performance trends and identify opportunities.
  • Serve as a resource to front end leadership for access data analytics and performance
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or equivalent experience. Graduate degree in related fields preferred.
  • 5 or more years of healthcare experience preferred
  • Previous experience with analysis and interpretation of data from multiple sources. Requires extensive computer skills to include Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Access.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • High work standards and ethics.

Hours

Full-time, 40 hours per week, days, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
