Job Summary

The Project Manager is an exempt position and has the responsibility for leading 5 Quality subcommittees and project management for the Quality Department.

Lead 5 Quality Subcommittees by creating and and executing project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Identify resources needed and assigns individual responsivities.

Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and documentation including appropriate policies and procedures, functional specifications, user and resource requirements, schedules and status reports for assigned application systems and/or projects. Optimize and coordinate system-wide initiatives for all assigned portions of Quality.

Implement improvement methodologies, manage plans for standardization of processes, reporting and approaches across Quality. Tracks and monitor ongoing performance key performance indicators and data for Quality operations and develop and provide regular interpretation to management both at the region and system level; ensure that practices are in compliance with Quality procedures/practices. 

Support and coordinate Quality control standards and policy work including reporting, business process and control evaluation, remediation of control deficiencies, and on-going monitoring of key Quality information. Attend, facilitate and lead teams and groups and organize regular meetings and discussions as assigned.  The candidate will facilitate communications between the Home Office and regional revenue cycle teams.

Maintains knowledge and understanding of the current trends and developments in healthcare, including keeping abreast of compliance regulations, standards and directives regarding governmental/third party agencies and/or third party payers. Maintains personal/professional development that provides an atmosphere where employees can develop professionally, where they can be challenged, yet mentored and stimulated consistent with their abilities and the needs of the organization.

Performs other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications - Minimum

Required Minimum Education: 4 year Bachelors Degree; Specialty/Major: Business Admin/Healthcare Admin (or closely related field with adequate understanding of healthcare finance)

Preferred Education: Graduate Degree (Masters); Specialty/Major: Business Admin/Healthcare Admin 

Licensure/Certifications: Six Sigma Black Belt strongly preferred

Minimum Years and Type of Experience: 5 years experience in Project Coordination/Management.

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

* Must be proficient with personal computer software packages - Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Visio).* Six sigma experience* Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.  * Excellent planning and organizational skills, attention to detail, as well as demonstrated ability to create and maintain strategic roadmaps and resource plans. * Strong analytical, verbal and presentation skills. * Ability to establish relationships with internal customers and external entities as well as a demonstrated ability to effectively support business planning required. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Must be team player and have the ability to communicate effectively with Quality team members.* Ability to navigate across multiple customer demands and balance competing priorities successfully. Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred: Knowledge of Quality operations in a healthcare setting
