Job Summary

JOB SUMMARY: Leads the production team in food preparation and food safety for patients, cafeteria, and catering.  In addition to being able to personally perform these duties, they lead pre-service meetings and hold ownership of all the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) record keeping that is required in the kitchen.

Prepares and serves hot and cold food for patients, cafeteria, and caterings in a timely and attractive manner while following all HACCP (food safety guidelines).  Follows production system guidelines on recipes as well as quantities to prepare.  Prepares and cooks food to order for patients and food is required to get to the patient within 45 minutes. Whether cooking for the patient line or the cafeteria, recipes are followed along with directions for preparing, seasoning and cooking.  Production sheets that provide quantities are to be followed.

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

Required: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

Preferred Education: Vocational/Technical Degree

Preferred: ServSafe Certification

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Two to four years of related work experience

Shift and Job Schedule

Hours: Full-Time, 32 hours weekly

Shift: Days / Afternoons
