We are currently seeking an experienced Analyst to join our IT team in supporting the Revenue Cycle Technology solutions.  Job Responsibilities

The Analyst is responsible for assisting with the planning, testing, implementation, and support of assigned hospital information systems relating to business and revenue cycle application solutions. The Analyst will work closely with the customers and vendors to gain indepth knowledge of the assigned applications and business processes.  The analyst will be responsible for providing application support both during business hours and after hours as needed. 

Your specific duties in this role will include:

Implementation and support of revenue cycle applications not limited to patient registration, charging, medical records, eligibility, claims, forms printing, and other business solutions software.

Plan and perform software upgrades, scheduling downtime when necessary to perform system maintenance tasks as recommended by the vendor.  Validation of the software with end users to ensure the system is functional. Creation of test plans.

Resolves issues and troubleshoots problems and provide customer support with assigned applications.

Collaborating with customers and other market leaders to build and maintain revenue cycle and business solutions.

Understanding the importance of responsiveness in clinical care situations and acting accordingly

Supporting end users, including issue documentation, resolution, and follow up

Participating in on-call rotation including weekend and after-hours coverage

Prioritizing, implementing, and communicating system updates and changes

Thoroughly reviewing, analyzing and testing every system change

Following change control policies, and supporting standardization and collaborative decisions

Documenting and following processes

Performing additional duties as assigned

Job Requirements

We are looking for an Analyst who combines technical expertise with creative problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively self-manage. You should also have outstanding multitasking and organizational skills, as well as the flexibility to adapt to quickly changing priorities and to remain resourceful and confident under pressure. It is also important that you demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal abilities.

Specific qualifications for the role include:

Bachelor’s degree or above 

3-5 years of relevant experience in a healthcare related organization OR 5-7 years in a non-healthcare setting

Knowledge of information systems, including application support, operating systems, HL7 integration, databases, servers, and other IT areas.

Detailed understanding of applications workflows and system configuration

Strong writing, documentation, and customer service skills

Ability to absorb complex technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience

Ability to research, organize, analyze and synthesize data to support effective decision making

Ability to proactively identify gaps and participate in solutions

Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Willingness to travel throughout Ohio and Kentucky and other states as needed

Ability to consistently meet deadlines

HealthCare experience, preferred

Shift and Job Schedule

Full Time, 40 hours/week, days, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

On-call rotation required & Go live support.
